Institutional Facilities

The Faculty of Pharmacy has 19 well equipped labs, 9 lecture halls, fully air-conditioned exclusive library, computer centre, instrument lab and seminar hall alongwith faculty rooms, central stores, machine room, and an animal house which is duly approved by CPCSEA, Chennai. The herbal garden boasts of more than 100 varieties of medicinal plants.

Library

Libraries are considered to be the heart of an education Institute. The BBDNIIT pharmacy library was established in 2001 having the main objective to promote knowledge and application via the effective dissemination of knowledge. Along with having a rich collection of books, journals and periodicals it is also enriched with the digital resources (providing e-books, e-journals and many more).

Our library is amongst the richest in Pharmacy with more than 1360 titles and 6750 volumes, and a collection of 25 International and 200 National journals. The Selected journals from Delnet and Inventi are available in full text.The BBDNIIT Pharmacy Library acts as a networking hub that collects, manages and dissemination electronic information and knowledge just beyond providing access to all collection of printed books and other publications. Central Instrumentation Laboratory

The Central Instrumentation Laboratory houses sophisticated equipments like FTIR, HPLCs, UV Spectrometers, Carbon Dioxide Incubator, -80 Degree celsius Deep Freezer, Microwave Synthesizer, Biochem Analyzer, Elisa Reader, Eliza Plate Washer, Texture Analyzer, Digital Electronic Balances, Rotary Evaporators, Refrigerated Centrifuges, IR moisture balances, DR and DT apparatus, Flame Photometer, Trinocular, Homogenizer, Inverted Microscope, Brook field visco meter, Probe Sonicator and Binocular Microscopes etc. The Faculty of Pharmacy is proud to have the latest Molecular Modeling Software from Schrodinger, USA.
